Chocolate Covered Cherry Gelatin Shot

 

3 oz. package cherry or black cherry gelatin
1 Cup  boiling water

5 oz. Light rum
3 oz. Cocolate flavored liqueur
1 Jar maraschino cherries
1 - 2 Containers of " Magical" chocolate fudge shell. (syrup that quickly hardens on cold surfaces.)

2 oz. Condiment cups 
Spray can of whipped cream (optional )

 

Empty out a little juice from the maraschino cherry jar.  Pour 1 ounce of the light rum into the jar.  Marinate cherries, let them soak for 24 hours!

Add cherry gelatin to boiling water.  Once disolved, let cool.  Add 4 ounces of light rum, 3 ounces of chocolate flavored liqueur and 1 ounce of the cherry juice / rum mixture to the cool cherry gelatin and stir well.  Place one cherry in the bottom of every cup.  Pour cherry gelatin over the cherry to cover about 3/4 full.  Gently place in freezer.  Let freeze until very cold to the touch.  Remove from freezer and squeeze magical chocolate syrup on top.  Pop a lid on the cups and place back in freezer until ready to eat!  Once you serve them, feel free to spray a little whipped cream on top for a nice gourmet look.

"Gourmet Pudding/Gelatin Shot Queen!"  Once you make this shot, your family and friends will expect nothing but greatness from here on out!  You have been warned!  Enjoy the journey!
